Tremenda nueva versión de WordPress

Me gusta mucho la nueva versión de WordPress, la verdad que está buenísima, me gusta la forma en que lo han diseñado y la facilidad con que cualquier usuario puede postear sin problema alguna. I love the use of Gears for the Turbo function!

Well, if any of you have seen some of my posts in the forum, you know that when I get on a roll, man. I can post some dooozies… So the plan is to deliver a series of articles in collaboration with a number of other Joomla! experts and well-known characters that relate to Site Planning, Integrity, Security and Maintenance over the coming months. For some of you, these might be a little basic, while others might find them to be worth the time spent reading them, we hope it will be the latter.

By way of an introduction for those that might not know me and to re-acquaint myself with those that do. I am Russ Winter, I live in Melbourne, Australia and have been around Joomla! for a couple of years now, you can commonly find me in the forums under the name of RussW. I tend to hangout in the Installation and Security forums mostly, but have been known to peruse the rest of the forums on occasion, I am probably best know for my odd sense of humour but can occasionally post something useful. I have most been recently been involved with the development of the Joomla! Tools Suite project and have been fortunate enough to also have been invited to join the newly formed Joomla! Security Strike Team (JSST).

Samuel L. Jackson On ‘The Spirit’: ‘It’s Wile E. Coyote With Real People’

There’s been no shortage of buzz around the ‘Net about Frank Miller’s upcoming adaptation of Will Eisner’s classic series “The Spirit”, but when MTV News spoke with Samuel L. Jackson about the film and his role in it, the popular actor didn’t hesitate to add some thoughts of his own about the project.

“['The Spirit'] is a comic book,” said Jackson. “You can call ‘The Dark Knight’ a comic book, but no, it’s a graphic novel. There’s a difference between a comic book and a graphic novel.”

“‘The Spirit’ is funny. It’s tongue-in-cheek, wry humor,” continued Jackson. “It’s sort of Wile E. Coyote with real people. We hit each other with big things [and] we’re both kind of indestructible, so it’s funny in that way. We get shot up, we get stabbed up, we just don’t die.”

Que dificil es cambiar un diseño!!!

Que difícil me resulta cambiar el diseño de mi pagina Lacuria.com. Muchas veces he creado diseños para dicho sitio y luego cuando veo como luce une vez terminado entonces deja de gustarme…

No se cual será la razón, lo cierto es que estoy aburrido del diseño actual pero por alguna razón no puedo cambiarlo.

No puedo esperar por ver el resultado de la adaptación cinematográfica de Twilight, el primer libro de la saga de Stephanie Meyer, altamente recomendable.

Nintendo Wii: Revolution!

Nintendo esta de vuelta, y como siempre nos trae lo último en consolas para videojuegos. Esta vez la compañía nos presenta a Wii (anteriormente "Revolution"), quien será la encargada de seguir la tradición de la empresa luego del GameCube.

Wii tendrá que competir aguerridamente en el mercado por dejar bien parados a Nintendo, al frente de la PlayStation 3 y la Xbox 360 (representando a Sony y Microsoft respectivamente).

Interview: David LaChapelle

David LaChapelle nació en Connecticut en 1969. Se entreno como artista en la Escuela de Artes de Carolina del Norte antes de mudarse a Nueva York. A su llegada, LaChapelle se vio envuelto tanto en La Liga de Estudiante de Artes y La Escuela de Artes Visuales de esa ciudad. Andy Warhol le hizo su primera oferta de trabajo para la revista "Interview".
